Every Doodle & Drift piece is made by hand from full-grain leather—the highest grade, chosen for its strength and character. Full-grain leather wears in, not out: over time it will develop patina, creases, and small marks that tell the story of your travels. These changes are natural and celebrated; they’re not considered defects.


One-Year Craftsmanship Repair Warranty

I stand behind my workmanship. For one (1) year from the purchase date, I will repair any issue with stitching or riveting that is beyond normal wear and tear, at no charge for the repair itself.

  • Applies to the original purchaser with proof of purchase (order number or receipt).
  • Items must be unaltered and unmodified.
  • Customer covers inbound shipping to the studio; Doodle & Drift covers return shipping on warrantied repairs.
  • If purchased through an authorized retailer, please initiate the repair/return with your point of purchase.

Outside the one-year window or for issues not covered (see below), I can usually help with a fair, small repair fee. I’ll always provide an estimate and get your okay before work begins.

What’s Not Covered

  • Normal wear and tear, patina, surface marks, small scratches, and color variation inherent to full-grain leather.
  • Damage from misuse, accidents, exposure to water/chemicals/heat, overloading, or improper care/storage.
  • Alterations by third parties or modifications after purchase (including re-dyeing, gluing, or hardware swaps).
  • Lost/missing hardware not due to workmanship, or cosmetic preferences after use.

How to Request a Repair

  1. Email hello@doodleanddrift.com with your order number, a brief description, and 2–3 clear photos.
  2. I’ll confirm warranty status and provide shipping instructions and an estimate if applicable.
  3. Typical repair turnaround is prompt, but please allow for the realities of a one-person studio.

Returns & Exchanges

I want you to love your gear. If something isn’t quite right, eligible items may be returned or exchanged within 14 days of delivery.

  • Items must be in new, unused condition with original tags/packaging.
  • Custom, personalized, sale/clearance items are final sale and not eligible for return.
  • Customer is responsible for return shipping; please use a trackable service and retain proof of shipment.
  • Refunds (minus original shipping) are issued to the original payment method once the item is received and inspected.

How to Start a Return/Exchange

  1. Email hello@doodleanddrift.com within 14 days of delivery.
  2. Include your order number and reason for return/exchange.
  3. Pack items securely; I’ll share the return address and next steps by email.

Care Notes for Full-Grain Leather

  • Brush off dust and wipe with a slightly damp cloth as needed. Avoid soaking.
  • Condition sparingly with a quality leather balm when the hide looks dry.
  • Avoid harsh cleaners, prolonged sun/heat, and chemical exposure.
  • Expect—and enjoy—patina: it’s the hallmark of full-grain leather that ages beautifully with use.

Important Notes

  • Small batch studio: Doodle & Drift is a one-person artisan shop. Timelines can vary slightly during busy seasons or travel.
  • Risk of loss in transit: Please insure/track shipments. I’m not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit to the studio.
  • Authorized retailers: If you purchased from a retailer, please initiate returns/repairs through them.
  • Limitations: To the extent permitted by law, remedies are limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the purchase price.
